Your adventure begins with trust. KIWA is a commercially surveyed ex-Coastguard vessel, built for safety, stability and fast passage across New Zealand’s demanding coastline.

  • Led by an expert crew with 25+ years experience and deep, intuitive knowledge of the ocean, reefs, conditions, First Aid and safety. Before every departure, our team conducts a clear, comprehensive passenger safety briefing to ensure you are comfortable, informed, and ready for a great day on the water.

  • KIWA holds a current Maritime Transport Operator Certificate (MTOC) and operates in strict accordance with Maritime New Zealand regulations under the Maritime Operator Safety System (MOSS) framework. Our vessel is fully surveyed, and our skipper and crew hold all required commercial maritime qualifications.

  • Your safety is our top priority. As a premier freedive and spearfishing charter, we operate under strict safety guidelines and are proudly AdventureMark®certified. This means our Safety Management System has been independently audited to meet New Zealand's rigorous adventure tourism standards and is fully approved by WorkSafe NZ.

  • Dive with confidence. We can supply professional wetsuits, spearguns, fishing & diving equipment.
